Thankful for You coloring page
If you love to color to relax or add a little extra creativity to your day, this coloring page is perfect for focusing on someone special. As you color, think of someone you love, someone important to you or maybe even yourself… because ya gotta be Thankful for YOU too!
Add a little extra sparkle to this pretty coloring page by using dimensional fabric paint in metallic gold. The paint will dry with a little bit of height to it so it will look almost like a fancy printed art piece. Of course I think adding color with watercolor pencils would be amazing too!
The paint has a nice small tip so you can fill in the coloring spaces directly with the bottle of paint. No brush required!
I recommend coloring your page first. Then go back and add your metallic gold (or whatever color) accents and allow the paint to dry. I added the paint first so I could show you without having to wait on myself to color the page… #shortcuts!
Once the paint dries, you will see a little bit of raised color. It adds a nice bit of texture to your art.
Note: As you apply the paint, you paper might start to buckle or warp. It's ok, the paper is just reacting to the extra moisture. Once the paint is completely dry, most, if not all, the warping will have gone away and your coloring page will be AMAZING!
You can download this coloring page and save it for later or print right away. I like to use a nice textured cardstock for my coloring pages, but you can use any kind of paper you'd like.
Color the this floral Thankful for YOU coloring page with your favorite fall colors or make something entirely different with your favorite all season colors. You can also paint it with watercolor paints or use (my all time favorite) watercolor pencils! I can't wait to see what you create!
This coloring page prints up with a grid and dots in the background…from your design program I imagine.
Hi Aj, the grid and dots are are part of the design.. a light pattern I hand-created in the background to add a little texture to the otherwise plain white space. I’d love to see how you decided to color the page!
