Salsa and Cream Cheese with Chips – Great Party Plate

Written by: | Published: January 26, 2015 | Updated: February 21, 2017

One of the easiest party plates you can ever make is salsa and cream cheese with chips. It’s so yummy and so quick. Looks beautiful and is the perfect plate to bring for any kind of party. The flavor is all in the salsa. So whether you make your own salsa or buy your favorite brand, the tastiness of this party food can be adjusted for your own flavor choices. This is a simple tomato salsa I made, but I’s also made a mango salsa that is delicious with cream cheese!

Salsa and Cream Cheese with Chips

This is so ridiculously easy! I’m telling you, if you want to bring a fancy, yummy treat to your next get together, but you don’t think you can cook a thing, this is the plate for you! When in a pinch, it’s the fastest thing to put together. The entire thing will take under 5 minutes to assemble. The biggest challenge is opening the cream cheese without smooshing it all up. You can do this!

Ingredients

  • Salsa
  • Block of cream cheese
  • Tortilla chips

How to make salsa and cream cheese

  1. Remove the cream cheese from the packaging and place on a plate.
  2. Pour salsa over the cream cheese.
  3. Set out the chips and you’re good to go!

Salsa with cream cheese is great for the big game parties, evening get togethers or just Sunday football snacking. I’ve set it out at our Christmas party and brought it to family gatherings. It’s great everywhere. For presentation, I’ve also used a small plate with the salsa and cream cheese in the middle of a larger serving tray and then spread the chips around it. It makes a pretty presentation for parties. Next time I make this, I’ll snag more pictures… we ate it before I could get more good shots. Happy snacking!
