We're starting to plant this year's garden. I'm hoping to grow some vegetables and herbs along with my favorite flowers. With so many different plants, and growing from seeds, I need to label everything to keep track. We can definitely make some pretty, fancy garden labels but for today I'm just whipping out some quick little flags before I forget what is in all the pots I'm planting. So today I'll show you how to make these garden flags too.
Materials you need:
- Tooth picks
- Duct tape
- Permanent marker/pen
- Scissors
How to make your own mini garden label flags
- Cut duct tape into long thing strips. I cut a piece of tape about 4″ long and then cut it into 3 strips.
- Wrap one strip of tape around the top of the tooth pick, adhering the tape to itself.
- Using the permanent marker, write whatever label you need.
- That's it. Place the labels in all your pots.
