Personalize School Supplies with Duck Brand

Written by: | Published: August 19, 2014 | Updated: August 19, 2014

I'm a big Duck Brand Duct tape fan. I love all the new designs they have to offer and the sticky power is fabulous! So when I was trying to figure out how to save a little cash and get my kids fun school supplies I grabbed some duct tape and got to work.

Of course each of my kids got their own roll of the design they liked best. I even picked up a roll of Mario Brothers Duct Tape for my new college bound kid. My kids loved helping with this project. I was able to save cash on special design folders, binders and other school supplies. I repurposed a few items from my boys, adding extra Hello Kitty tape so my daughter could reuse the supplies and many of the items can be used again next year. I'll just take off the tape and add a new design!

I could buy the 15 cent paper folders, but the kids use the same color folders every year, so I buy the plastic type. adding the duct tape decorations makes the folders feel like new again and I just saved myself from buying new folders every year. YAY for cost cutting!

I admit, some of the character tape is more expensive – and might not be saving me big bucks in the initial bill. But long term, there are all kinds of savings going on, including shopping time. The Duck Brand decorating is something my kids love to do – so adding it to the school supply prep was a no brainer. I have to say – buying a roll of Bronco Duck tape was so much easier than trying to find all the school supplies my son wanted with the NFL brand.

We love you Duck Brand!
