Using your printable Easter Party kits

Use the accent butterflies to decorate the basket or as part of the egg stands, banner or another decor project. You could add little treats to the basket and give as a gift. Each basket is just the right size to hold a standard-sized cupcake or a mini cupcake. We have Easter brunch, so I thought using Banana bread muffins instead of cupcakes would be fun – no frosting so early in the day.

Filling your mini Easter basket with grass:

I always have a pile of package fill and fake grass for Easter baskets and buckets. But instead of telling you to go buy your own, I've added a little block of green in the printable that you can make into your own Easter basket grass. Print out the page with the green rectangle, cut into strips, fold or scrunch up the paper strips and then separate to put in your basket.

There are a few butterflies in this set that you can cut out separately. Here's I've added two to the basket handle.

 To put the standard-size basket together:

• Cut out the two basket pieces.
• Fold as shown in the diagram.
• The yellow section folds to become the inside of the basket.
• Adhere the two pieces together as shown.
• Fold and glue the bottom together.
• Add cut out, fold and adhere the handle in place.
