Fatty’s pizzeria restaurant in Breckenridge Colorado

Written by: | Published: August 10, 2012 | Updated: December 02, 2015

I absolutely love Italian food. I also love Breckenridge, Colorado. So when we asked some of the locals in Breckenridge what restaurant they would recommend I was really excited to hear it was a family friendly, casual dinning Italian restaurant. Fatty's, appropriately named as I'm sure you could easily gain 20 pounds, has a super delicious menu, with good service and great prices. When my family goes to the mountains to get a little R&R time, we make a point to put Fatty's on the “must do” list.

Fattys occupies one of the oldest established restaurants in Breckenridge. Traditionally the building was used as a hotel and restaurant for many years. In 1975 the Colorado House evolved into the now-famous Fattys Pizzeria.”

Here's a peek at what we ate the last visit…

  1. Fettuccini Alfredo
  2. Garlic Cheese Bread
  3. Baked Lasagne
  4. Carbonara Sacchettini
  5. Potato Skins
  6. Pizza – I don't remember which kind

Usually someone in the family gets the spaghetti which is oh so yummy, but this time around we all tried something new. The servers are pretty quick. The tables are more of a family style setting – picnic tables like you'd expect in a pizzaria. You'll find people dressed nicely while others are just coming off the ski hill. And, if you're really not hungry, there's a full bar on the other side of the dinning room wall. We love Fatty's.
