Let's decorate our nails for Halloween with cut Easy Candy Corn Halloween Nail Art. Oh I love candy corn, and this one won't hurt our teeth. With just a few colors and a little patience you can make your own Candy Corn nail art in no time! You can mix and match colors, add little hand drawn accents or even a smiley face if you want. The trick is just using the right colors and taking your time to let each nail color layer dry before applying another color.
Candy Corn Halloween Nail Art
You can paint basic stripes for a fun and simple candy corn look, or you can make each nail a little different for a unique look. I added in a bit of doodling with a black nail polish pen.. because I love to doodle, but you can skip this step if you'd like.
Tip: I use nail polish pens to do all the doodling and a standard tiny paint brush to paint on the details.
Supplies you need
- White nail polish
- Yellow nail polish
- Orange nail polish
- Black nail polish Pen
- Clear nail polish top coat
I just started using Julep Nail Polishes – a friend of mine introduced me and I do love them so! Check out all the the fabulous Nail Color options!
Steps to create candy corn Halloween nail art
- Apply a layer of white polish on each nail. If the color is a little translucent, add a second coat. Allow to dry.
- Apply orange polish to each nail as desired. Use a small paint brush for finer lines if you prefer. Sometimes I use a toothpick to apply dots.
- Apply yellow polish where appropriate.
- After all the polish is thoroughly dry, add in hand drawn accents with the paint pen, allow to dry.
- Apply a clear top coat to protect your Halloween nail art masterpiece.
I tried to take a video to share the entire painting process with you for these Halloween nails, but I ran out of storage on my iPhone before I finished painting. Sorry!
