If you have a Cricut Explore, here is a 10 minute card you can make that turns out beautifully! This black and white flower card uses a single cut file I created. You can change the look entirely, just by changing the cardstock you use. Embellish however you like or leave as is for a simple yet elegant card perfect for any occasion.
Remember the Mother's Day rainbow flower lace card I made back in May? This is the same card, different color scheme. So versitile, right?! I removed the “Happy Mother's Day” banner and text piece from the Make it Now project and just cut the flower lace layer and the base card. You can also create a pretty flower lace framed art piece with this card project. Simply enlarge he cut designs to the size you'd like to frame, cut and voila!
You can get the cut files and even create this Flower Lace card in the Cricut Design Space.
Materials you need:
- Flower Lace card cut file design by Jen Goode
- Cricut Explore cutting machine
- Black and white card stock
- Adhesive
How to make your own flower card:
- Follow on screen instructions to cut the shapes.
- Fold card along score line.
- Glue flower cut layer to the outside front of the card.
That's it!
Add your own personal touch – glitter, buttons and even doodles would look fantastic! Use the remaining flower cut outs as confetti, to decorate the envelope (not included) or however you'd like.
I created this pretty project as my Design Team post for My Cricut Craft Room. Find more fun Cricut created projects like this please visit My Cricut Craft Room.
If you make this card, stop by and tell me about it. I'd love to hear what you create!
Love this card! I’ve been playing with it and my new Cricut…is there a way to change the Mother’s Day font?
Thank you! You can hide the text and replace it with a different font or text message. The Actual words “Happy Mother’s Day” is an art file, but it can be hidden… just click on “customize” to make changes before cutting the files.
Jen, I just love this card! I hope to get an Explore myself–maybe Christmas! I look forward to working with you on the MCCR Design Team. You are very inspiring!
Thank you so much Laurie!
