Who would have ever imagined in these times Ball jars would be so popular and so useful. I was born (1940) in time when they were always used for canning food, or mostly that I know of. Love it that they’re now used for decorating, flower vases, drinking, bathroom accessories, storage, etc. Such useful little shapes of glass.
Have you bought any of the commemorative Ball jars? I have set of pint/quart Blue commemorative along with green quart commemorative jars. Use them for whatever I need at any given time. Have also collected a few of vintage/antique jars , those jars have gone from MT to KY, to CO where we now live. Only one jar has gotten broken in our moves. Saw a beautiful amber Ball jar at an antique shop in MT, wanted that jar but was more than I could pay.
