What is an SVG file?

An SVG file is a digital art file that is designed as line art electronic cutting machines can recognize and cut. Sometimes these SVG files are also drawing files some machines will use as line art to draw with an actual pen. You'll find all of these SVG files right here!

How Do I Use an SVG File?

SVG files can be used with both electronic cutting machines and laser engraver/cutting machines. Simply download the files you'd like to use and upload into the software for your cutting or engraving device. For example, I use a Cricut machine. So, I would upload my SVG file into Cricut Design Space.

Please note, all the SVG files available from this website are delivered as .zip files. You must unzip the file you download to access the .svg file.

Which type of SVG designs are right for your projects?

Most of my designs can be used with a variety of materials. Here are some things to think about:

• Iron-on or HTV and Infusible Ink work best with single layer designs.
• Paper crafts (cards, gift tags, banners, etc.) are great with single-layer and multi-layered SVG designs, but avoid individual small pieces unless you are using adhesive vinyl to layer the images.
• Adhesive vinyl works well with all types of designs, it just depends what you are creating, how many layers are best.
• Leather and Chipboard work best with larger, simple cut designs as the material is thick and requires a few passes with the blade. Small, delicate designs can get lost in this process.
• Faux Leather can be layered or cut as a single-layer design. Usually, 2-3 layers is ideal when adding multiple pieces.
