Here is a quick and easy idea for creating Shamrocks for St. Patrick's day crafts or DIY decor. You can create this shamrock in minutes with your Cricut! I designed both the shamrock cut file and a free printable to use in all types of projects.
The Shamrock design features line art accent lines around each leaf section and a heart cut out of the middle. I've created a cutting file as well as a printable that you can use for all your own personal projects. What fun St. Patrick's Day projects will you make?
Shamrock SVG cut files and printables
If you use this shamrock cut file with your Cricut Explore, you can set the doodle accent lines to draw. I used a gold Cricut pen for the shamrock cutouts.
I used my Cricut machine to cut all these shamrocks. The shamrock SVG file comes with 5 layers you can adjust to create variations of this pretty little design.
Add the shamrock art to your Cricut Design Space canvas. Then just set the cut settings to create 6 copies for an 8.5×11″ piece of cardstock. I had to resize the image size just a little to be able to get 6 to fit on a page. Search Cricut Design Space for image #MC47751 to find this image.

The center of the shamrock features a little heart. Once cut, you can use these hearts as little confetti pieces.
Use different shades of green cardstock to make a variety of shamrocks. You can also change out the pen color to create even more different looks.

I cannot find this on Cricut Design, has it been taken off? If it has is there any way I can still get it?
So sorry about that! I’ve updated the instructions to include: search for the image in Cricut Design Space by looking for image #MC47751. Let me know if you still have a hard time finding it. Thank you for stopping by!
Can you use this for Shilouette Cameo?
I have only used the Cricut cutting machines, but the SVG files should work with any cutting machine system. Did you try it out yet?
These are the cutest shamrocks I’ve been able to find. Thank you!! I plan on printing out several for St. Patrick’s Day this year. =)

Thank you so much for the note, I’m glad you like the shamrocks! Stop back by and show me what you’ve created, I’d love to see it!
The cut file that comes up is diferent. Doesnt have center cutout and stem is fatter too. Did it get changed? Thanks.
Hi Janet, The Cricut version of the cut file is slightly different.. I added a couple draw lines so you can cut or draw extra details. To create the center heart cut, simply change one of the draw lines to a cut line and then hide the other draw line. Let me know if you have any trouble with it. Thank you for your note!
Can you use the stylus instead of the gold pen for texture?
Sure! I have tried using the stylus, I like the letterpress idea… I hadn’t had much luck, but it’s definitely worth a try!
Golly gee wow……I can’t find the CUT FILE for this. I tried etsy and all over the page. My Explore and I WANT this file. sassyb95@yahoo.com Know you are busy and all that stuff .. just let my Explore have this file or it’s gonna pout .. and that’s such an ugly thing to watch. Giggle
Oh my gosh, thank you for the note Joyce! I’m sorry. I got so excited to share I added the printable but not the SVG file. The Cut file is now available to download. Pouting Explore machines is very unpleasant, I completely agree! I hope you have fun with it!
